Cameo Cinema

Cameo Cinemas is an independent cinema offering a mix of mainstream, blockbuster and quality art-house movies for discerning audiences.

First open for business in 1935, the cinema still holds National Trust Classification with Cinema 1 retaining its historical Art Deco features.

Open seven days a week, Cameo Cinemas boasts affordable movie fare – especially with a membership! Hosting regular post-film Q&A sessions with filmmakers and creative talent, Cameo really is the place to be for any film buffs local to the Dandenong Ranges or just visiting.

Over the summer season, our Cameo Outdoor Cinema runs every weekend with sessions at 9pm screening both new release films and some key cult classics.

Less than an hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD and a short walk from Belgrave train station, Cameo Cinemas is well worth the trek.
