Ripe is a foodie cafe and produce store owned and run by hills locals. Established in 1999, Ripe Australian Produce is located in the quaint Sassafras Village in the Dandenong Ranges, about a 45 minute drive east of Melbourne (next door to the well known Tea Leaves and Miss Marples).
The head barista is passionate about quality coffee, partnering with Melba Organic Roasters who are nine time winners of the golden bean coffee roasting competition.

Ripe's multi-award winning pastry chef serves up exceptionally delicious house made pastries, cakes, biscuits and house made fresh scones. Their chefs use local, fresh and ethically sourced produce offering an all day breakfast and lunch menu with a veggie love section, and there are plenty of vegan and gluten free meals and cakes.
