The Fruits of the Yarra Valley Festival is set to delight tastebuds this February

Join in Preserving Classes all weekend

Learn how to bottle up your own delicious summer fruit and pop some in your bag to enjoy later. Be instructed by bottling experts in a personalised session, get shown how to prepare, pack and cook fruit in order to successfully preserve the season to enjoy whenever you next need that ripe, fresh taste of summer. Bottling sessions run hourly each day between 10:00am to 2:00pm. Each session runs from 30 to 45 minutes, depending on group size, plus cooking time additional (please add on 40 minutes after to wait for your bottles to be cooked and slightly cooled before ready for collection).

A free family fun day event - activities include:

  • Fruit Taste Adventure Tractor Tours
  • Jumping Castle 
  • Petting Zoo
  • Fruit Stalls
  • Fruit Bottling
  • Local produce

And lots of Festival Fruit Preserving fun too:

  • Bottle up one jar of fruit to take away each session - $10 per person,
  • Preserve extra bottles for $5 each - (limit three bottles per person per session)

Choice of seasonal fruit used for bottling session - peaches, nectarines, plums , apricots and more - all freshly picked from the orchard.
